The New 52 Flash

The Flash/Barry Allen has so much potential. The New 52 eight graphic novel Flash set, was written by Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato. Of course, it had it's fair share of praise and criticism, but I enjoyed most of them. It's art style stands out because of Manapul and Bucellato; it wasn't next level, but personally I thought it was mostly hit and less miss. It reminded me of the latest television show: It started out very promising and I was pulled in. It slightly touched on some comic themes, and everything was hunky-dory, until; they turned it into one of the cringiest comic-to-television disappointments I've ever seen. They destroyed Flashpoint; I hope the Flash movies doesn't do the same—Ezra Miller isn't the right choice. Anyway, the later Manapul & Buccellato storylines fumbled with the ball a little for me, but it is no where near as bad as that televised monstrosity. That being said, for some unknown reason, I enjoyed those cheesey bad guys
